Our Dubbel Entendre is our version of a traditional Belgium style; the ‘Dubbel’ or Double Strong Ale. We brew it with special Belgian Ale yeast and lots of candi sugar. This  amlty sweet brew pours a coppery colour and is full of notes of prune, plum, fig and other dark dried fruits. It is full-bodied and complex, yet finishes smooth despite its high alcohol content. citrus and breadiness. It has a warming, dry finish that is both rich, yet balanced. Pick it up in the early Spring Months in 650mL bottles at our brewery bottle shop or on tap at craft-beer friendly establishments.

SAISON, 4.5%

Saison 1Our Saison is a refreshing and zesty unfiltered Belgian style wheat ale brewed with both orange zest & coriander. It pours a hazy light orange colour and offers aromas of both citrus and spice. It is a dry, effervescent and thirst-quenching beer: a perfectly smooth ale for those warm weather days. Pick it up in 650mL single bottles at LCBO’s during the spring & summer months, at our brewery bottle shop and on tap at craft-beer friendly establishments in Ontario.

Oaktoberfest 1Our Oaktoberfest is the only lager we make over here at Black Oak. Why? Because of how much we LOVE this Marzen Oaktoberfest style! The brew is coloured a copper colour and has thick, white foam and snappy carbonation. It is clean, fresh and crisp: the malty flavour is complimented by the right amount of hops. It is easy-to-drink, yet full of flavour. NUTCRACKER PORTER, 5.8%

Nutcracker 5Our Nutcracker Porter is a full-bodied ale that is perfect for the cold-weather holiday season. This brew pours a thick, inky black and the cinnamon sticks that were tossed into the brew give it a spicy warmth on both the aroma and the palate. It is perfectly balanced with notes of roast and toast with a subtle hop backbone. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CHERRY STOUT, 5.8%

TCCS 4Our Triple Chocolate Cherry Stout is packed with all the flavours you would expect from a traditional stout with some extra twists! We have added cocoa powder and cacao nibs from Toronto’s Chocosol Traders and concentrated cherry juice from Niagara’s Cherry Lane. This yields a local brew that has both a rich dark chocolate malt character combined with a tart cherry flavour. It has soft carbonation and a velvety mouth-feel. Pick it up in 650mL single bottles during the cold weather months, at our brewery bottle shop in the winter months and on tap at craft-beer friendly establishments in Ontario.
