We have a retail store onsite. We sell 6-packs, and a changing selection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and golf shirts out of this store. We can accomodate tours, give us a call for groups or just drop by whenever the store is open if you're on your own. Check our availability list for other places you can find our beer if you can't make it out to the store.

Environmental Awareness
The brewing industry is well known for their practices of recycling and use of returnable bottles. Black Oak follows these practices. Our spent grain is re-used by a local farmer as animal feed, and much of our cardboard is re-used by a local shipping company. In addition, Black Oak will monitor its brewing and business activities to ensure minimal waste occurs. Being proactive will reduce waste, develop processes and use materials that are environmentally friendly.

The Brewhouse
Our beers are craft brewed, prepared in small batches using a 17 Hectolitre brew house with four 34 Hectolitre Unitanks and one 34 Hectolitre Bright Beer Tank in a 4,200 sq. ft. facility. Our brewing equipment is custom engineered, high tech and Canadian made. It's very local to us because our manufacturer is a short drive away. Its pretty high-tech using a touch screen and a PLC system to monitor and control the temperatures in all the vessels. We've used the latest technology to make great beer traditionally. We got the best value for our dollar spent. Now we have to pay the Bank loan.

The majority of our ingredients are Canadian. We could tell you what they are but we wont. Everything here is shrouded in secrecy. We'll even deny the secrecy thing.
