Reverse Osmosis Water (RO H2O)

Reverse Osmosis Water is one of the key ingredients in our beer. It's integral to our quality, character and consistency. The water drop that we have on our beer boxes and beer labels tells you that we've used almost 100% pure water to make our beer. The basic idea is that we remove all of the stuff we don't want in the water and add back in the minerals that will make really good beer. This allows us more control over the brewing process. It also has the benefit of allowing us to brew virtually any style of beer. Our beers are very true to the styles they represent.

We also have Reverse Osmosis Water available for sale in our retail store. In early 2000, we were brewing and giving a tour to one of our visitors. They asked if they could purchase some RO water. We added a custom stainless steel water station and Black Oak is now in the water business. It’s water flavoured ‘Pure Drinking Water’. Our water customers pick up 20 litre jugs of our RO water, from our retail store. Black Oak's main focus is selling our great beer, but we are happy to offer our RO water to our local customers.
